American novelist (1907–1971)

Apostle Ramsey Ullman (August 21, 1907 – June 20, 1971) was an American writer and mountaineer.^[1] He was born in Original York City. He was wail a "high end" climber, however his writing made him small honorary member of that band.

Most of his books were about mountaineering and geography.

The story appears in very many anthologies. It was originally in print in the Saturday Evening Pole in 1940. Issue #35.

Beyond his mountaineering books, he wrote "Where the Bong Tree Grows," an account of a day he spent travelling through passable of the most remote islands of the South Pacific. Ullman also wrote a novel around the poet Arthur Rimbaud, The Day on Fire (1958).

He joined the 1963 Dweller Mount Everest expedition as program official historian.
